BASIC
Basics is a foundational hatha yoga class designed for beginner yogis and those interested in a moderate practice. This yoga class introduces the basic asana postures to the student as well as matching breath to movement (pranayama). The basic yoga flow offers a synergy of guided movement and breath with an emphasis on alignment, balance, and strength. Offers yogis a good foundational yoga sequence to advance their own practice. The studio is kept warm but not hot to allow students to learn the benefits of yoga including physical strength, joint mobility (which contributes positively to muscle elasticity), breath awareness, energy flow and concentration.

ALL LEVELS FLOW
All Levels Flow at Blue Monkey Yoga is a vinyasa-based yoga pracKtie which offers strength and flexibility through a guided sequence of yoga poses (asana). The class emphasizes flow, matching purposeful movement to breath. All Levels Flow allows time and space to exist between transitions and an emphasis is placed on focused breathing, connecting the mind to the present moment, to allow the practioner to explore both focus and power.
This class is open to yogis of all levels, beginner, intermediate, or advanced and is offered in both heated (90-95 degrees) and unheated (80-85 degrees) options.

SUNS UP FLOW
Our Suns Up Flow offering is an All Levels Yoga Flow centered around an energizing pracKce to help you start your day off right. This vinyasa-based yoga practice offers strength and flexibility through a guided sequence of yoga poses (asana), with an emphasis on sun salutations and an energizing practice. The class stresses flow, matching purposeful movement to breath. All Levels Flow allows Kme and space to exist between transitions and an emphasis is placed on focused breathing, connecKng the mind to the present moment, to allow the pracKKoner to explore both focus and power. This class is open to yogis of all levels, beginner, intermediate, or advanced and is offered in both heated (90-95 degrees) and unheated (80-85 degrees) options.

INTERMEDIATE STRENGTH FOCUSED
Intermediate Strength Focused is a vinyasa-based power yoga class for more advanced yogis, at the intermediate or advanced levels. This yoga class emphasizes strength and flexibility by matching asana to breath in a power flow. The format allows for students to explore more advanced asana poses and sequencing, building a stronger and more powerful practice. This type of yoga is taught in a heated studio which makes it a vigorous and revitalizing form of physical fitness. Recommended for those who seek athleticism in yoga and for cross-training purposes, as well as for those who want to get out of their heads and into their body!

FLOW & RESTORE
Flow and Restore is Blue Monkey Yoga’s own take on a restoraKve yoga class. The class begins with a brief All Levels Flow to explore strength and focus while preparing for a restorative practice. Restorative yoga slows the yoga practice down, using props to hold yoga poses for longer, allowing the body to relax into a deeper stretch and the mind to quiet to a deeper focus. From within this stillness a guided yoga breathing practice (pranayama) serves to awaken deeper awareness within the body-mind systems to take you to deeper level mindfulness. Pranayama engages the
parasympathetic nervous system which has positive implications for managing stress as well as health benefits, parKcularly for the respiratory system. A delicious class to end the day or week.
